In any case, what's your experience with android development like? Fun? Stressful? Do you wish you could use another language aside from Java/Kotlin for development? One more thing I wish android development would allow for is more freedom and capabilities in working with audio (specifically, DSP, internal audio recording and sound synthesis,) but I do know one can use C++ and port JUCE apps to android studio (but this last point is probably more suitable for another community.) But, still, I love android apps and do appreciate its strictness on security. What I find rather tricky about android development is working with device access permissions and the many changes that seem to keep arising each year with new updates. It's so much better for predicting the GUI design on multiple devices than creating Python GUI apps with Tkinter and Kivy. My favorite part about android development is working with Java, and I find Android Studio to be a really well-organized IDE to work with. Sorry if this isn't the proper place to post this question. It's my first time posting in this community. I just want the module to load automatically.News for Android app developers with the who, what, where, when, and how of the Android community. I can actually copy the *.ko module over and load it and that works. However when I run the build in QEMU I don't see the module. Right now, I can see the module in the make menuconfig and select it. I'm trying to follow the instructions here: $(eval $(call KernelPackage,$(PKG_NAME))) PKG_BUILD_DIR:=$(KERNEL_BUILD_DIR)/$(PKG_NAME)ĭefine KernelPackage/$(PKG_NAME)/description # This is free software, licensed under the GNU General Public License v2. I have a Makefile as below: # Copyright (C) 2006-2012 What I am missing is how to get the code into the build process of Openwrt. I have working code that loads and does what it needs to do. I'm writing a simple kernel module for Openwrt.
